THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a brand new position within the management accounts team of this large blue chip business. It is an exciting opportunity to make your mark on the role and business.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Within the role the successful candidate will be responsible for providing full financial support to a key area of the business as well as analysing, preparing and delivering monthly performance reports.
- Key accountabilities will include:
- Providing day to day financial support
- Preparing monthly management accounts and support the month end closure process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the financial reports
- Support the Commercial Director and budget holders in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Enhance and maintain client profitability reporting from exiting models for all areas of responsibility demonstrating cost drivers within the business
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required
- Support commercial finance and provide existing P&L’s for renewals and tenders.
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, ability to work independently and within a team
- Articulate and professional
