Our client a market leading Northamptonshire manufacturing business is currently looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner for an initial 12 month contract assignment.
Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, this role will include the following core responsibilities: to provide accurate and timely financial control and business partnering to department heads and budget holders; preparation of budgets and forecasts as well as the provision of transparency for overhead and payroll / benefit costs & investement; to provide expertise towards critically appraising, evaluating and challenging actuals whilst continuously improving methods and core business processes.
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded qualified or passed finalist accountant with excellent business partnering and management accounting experience gained from working within a similar fast moving manufacturing or supply chain environment. Advantageous to this role are strong SAP and MS excel spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, v-look ups and what if statements.
