THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie are recruiting for a Construction based in Derbyshire near Junction 29. Our client has a requirement for a Finance Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Working closely alongside the Director the role on offer will involve:
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasting
- Review / manage business expenditure including Fleet Vehicles, Insurance Premiums, Office Equipment
- Management of the small accounts department and oversee Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Processing of company payroll
- Preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns
- Distribute and manage incoming work to appropriate teams and oversee daily operations
- Oversee HR / Health and Safety documentation, liaising with consultants as appropriate
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
The client will consider clients who are qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience. The successful candidate will have experience working within the construction industry and will therefore have experience in producing CIS returns.
The ideal candidate will have also used Sage previously and will have experience in managing and developing small teams.
