THE OPPORTUNITY:
An excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious Accountant to join a subsidiary of a global manufacturing business within a varied and hands on position.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller, completing monthly management accounts, reconciliations of sales and cost of sales, ensuring the integrity of the stock accounting system, accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and profit and loss variance analysis.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved in number of ad-hoc projects including the implementation of a new ERP system and identifying process improvements and cost savings for the business.
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Qualified – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
The individual must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, be flexible and have the ability to influence others.
