Our client an established and award winning Cambridgeshire based manufacturer is currently looking to recruit a new Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible providing timely and accurate financial information and financial reporting to the senior management team and executive board.
Your responsibilities will include; the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets & forecasts, annual financial accounts; overhead reporting; variance analysis; as well as ensuring the integrity of all financial records and controls. You will also be responsible for managing a small finance team with overall responsibility of the balance sheet, reconciliations, debtors and creditors, VAT, fixed assets, prepayments and accruals.
In addition to the technical skills required of a Financial Controller you will also be an effective communicator with an aptitude for leading, challenging and influencing at all levels. You will be a strong team player with a desire to learn and share knowledge from & within a wide ranging finance and non-finance pier base.
