Position Summary:
• To manage and control the finance department to ensure that the adequate controls, systems and procedures are in place.
• To produce the annual financial accounts and other information for external audit to ensure minimum statutory requirements are met.
• To manage and control the valuation of the company’s stock and assets to the satisfaction of group accounting policy and external auditors.
• To meet the company’s statutory reporting requirements to government departments.
• To be responsible for ensuring adequate financial control within the business, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• To undertake and participate in strategy related projects to assist in their implementation.
• Organise, control and motivate the finance department to achieve the departmental objectives within agreed timescales and targets.
What we are looking for:
A strong technical accountant, ideally ACA qualified with experience of working in a large company environment.
Any experience of US GAAP is a bonus but not essential.
