Tayto is a major crisps manufacturer with its group finance offices based in Corby.
They manufacture and distribute many of the UK’s well known brands as well as manufacturing on behalf of Asda, Tesco and Morrison’s.
With operations across the UK and a parent company based in Ireland, Tayto turns over £140 Million. The business continues to grow as they acquire other brands and expand their own product range.
Position Summary:
Manage a team of c 20 people across three sites.
• Responsible for compliance with all statutory accounting requirements.
• Preparation of monthly consolidated Accounts Pack, Annual, Statutory Accounts and Budgets.
• Review and establish sound accounting procedures, systems and internal controls
• Provide strong leadership on all transactional and strategic matters for the Finance Team
• Ensure tight financial controls in place whilst overseeing Debtor and Creditor ledgers.
• Fixed Asset procedures and controls.
• Be pivotal in extracting maximum benefit from IT systems for the finance function.
• Advise on financial implications and consequences of business decisions
• Monitor and evaluate financial information systems
• Work with Group Finance Director on developing future strategy of the business.
What we are looking for:
• A qualified accountant with experience of Group Consolidations.
• A candidate that is capable of working in a ‘hands on’ environment.
• A candidate that has ideally qualified with a large practice.
• Experience of negotiating with financial institutions.
• Good team player with experience of staff management
