THE OPPORTUNITY:

Macildowie are currently working with the international brand Interflora to recruit a HR Manager for their Head Office based in Sleaford, one of the East Midlands fastest growing towns.

Interflora is a UK based provider of floral gifts and services to consumers and retail member florists in the UK and Republic of Ireland. It provides a comprehensive suite of products and services to enable its member florists to send and deliver gift orders. Interflora is also an internet and telephone marketer of flowers and speciality gift items to consumers operating primarily through its web site and a telesales operation. 

THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



This growing and thriving business is now seeking a generalist HR Manager to join their team who is able to handle both the operational and strategic elements it demands. The role provides considerable opportunity for personal success, in a very successful, fast moving and challenging environment.

This is an exciting and key middle management role within the business reporting directly to the Head of HR and providing a hands-on practical support to the HR Advisors and Managers across the business. You will be in charge of developing employee engagement strategies in order to ensure that employees at all levels are engaged in the business and enjoy being part of a winning team. Additionally you will provide innovative ideas on how to attract and retain talented individuals who will help drive business success.

Interflora are always looking towards improving the performance and capability of all employees and it will be this individual’s responsibility to build upon the reward and recognition strategy, as well as improving procedures, updating policies and supporting employee relations issues.

You will need to be someone who can coach and develop the HR and Management teams as well as demonstrating the ability to influence at a senior level and be capable of building credibility and strong relationships at all levels.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Proven Track record in a fast moving environment ideally in Retail, FMCG or Contact  centres.

• CIPD qualified

• Excellent generalist experience

• Excellent influencing skills
