THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant on a 3 month interim position. Our client has this requirement for additional resource within the Financial Reporting team to manage increased workload following a period of corporate activity.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To build and develop excel models to improve group reporting and provide financial accounting resource through the interim period.
To assist in the development of accounting processes and implement improvements in the financial reporting process.
To update and develop the group fixed asset register to streamline group reporting processes and provide robust forecasting
To provide support to the Financial Reporting team in the interim reporting period, improving reporting tools for leases, share based payments and intercompany.
Other ad-hoc support as required.

Technical / Professional Expertise Required
• Qualified accountant
• Strong financial accounting and excel modelling skills
• Graduate calibre – strong academic record
• Track record of success
• A self-motivated, pro-active team player who is used to working within a fast moving industry
• Strong communicator who possesses the ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing deadlines
