Our client is an expanding organisation and is seeking to appoint an internal audit manager. The role will be responsible for accounting and auditing including the management of financial and operations audits.
Your role will be to plan and direct the conduct of audits, research, investigations, reviews or business projects. You will discuss and review work programs in order to maintain consistent and effective audit coverage. This is a key role within the business and will play an important part in the strategy and on-going direction of the business. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Director analysing the progress of audits and approved plans.
You will be degree educated and qualified in internal audit or accountancy. You will also have a strong technical analytical skills, problem solving and leadership skills. A proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage audit projects and motivate staff is integral to being successful.
