Macildowie Associates are recruiting for an interim HR Advisor for a 6-9 month contract. Under the direction of the Group HR Manager you will have overall responsibility got providing a stand alone, proactive and supportive HR service in Northern Ireland in line with defined accountabilities. In this position you will combine a practical common sense approach and a sound understanding of business needs to deliver good practice and innovative HR solutions across the Banbridge and Lurgan sites.
- You will take an active role in the resoultuion of HR issues that arise in the course of the company’s business operations in areas such as Disciplinary & Grievance, Performance Management and restructuring
- Advise on and co-ordinate standard recruitment campaigns from conception through to contract, including liaising with line mangers and agencies, designing and organizing assessment events.
- Coach line managers to foster accountability and recognition of employees.
- Assist in the integration of processes and policies across the group
- Lead the employee relations forum to promote a positive and engaging working environment.
- Ensure the collation and production of data and information to fulfill internal, external and legal requirements and the processing of employee information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Keep employment law and general HR knowledge up to date and to provide advice to staff and line manager son best practice approaches, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the team through active involvement in team meetings, objectives, project work and communications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills being a strong team player within the HR team and the business. You will be resilient and tenacious being able to manage and prioritise a busy workload and work under pressure.
