Macildowie are currently working with a Manufacturing organisation based in the Derbyshire area who require a Manufacturing Analyst.
Looking for someone with a manufacturing background, with strong Management Accounts experience and Variance Analysis.
Role will include:
Monthly management accounts preparation
• Review inventory evaluation and provisions
• Forecast schedule for board
• Review of P&L forecast in pack
• Capex and depreciation control
• Thorough review of monthly invoicing
• WIP review
Preparation of manufacturing accounts.
• Standard cost analysis by product & customer
• Variance analysis – materials & labour
• Materials utilisation & scrap analysis
• Sales and standard cost of sales summary
• Customer actual performance analysis
• Labour efficiency/cost analysis
• Carriage costs and recoveries by customer
• Materials price variance review
• Consumables and VPOs review
• Specific product analysis – low margin, tooling block, samples etc..
Cost evaluation and standards
• Development and maintenance of standard costing system
• Care and control of costing sheets
• To support the development of ACM manufacturing systems and ACE contract accounting
• On-line review of low margin business performance
Cash flow forecasting
• Weekly cash flow forecasting preparation
• Cover for monthly consolidated forecasting
KPI analysis
