In essence, the key accountabilities of the role will include the following:
The delivery of strategic contracts in the region of £10m pa
Identification of procurement requirements in terms of volume and specification in conjunction with the business
Full responsibility for the negotiation of contracts in line with agreed purchasing strategy
Effective maintenance of contracts and development of tenders and contracts using sourcing tools
Generation of savings
Required:
Core experience should have been gained in the Engineering Sector, ideally within modifications engineering works, service contractsDemonstrable experience in the procurement process for sourcing, tendering and award of medium value (<£5M) contracts
