Our client a market leading branded manufacturing business currently requires a Project Accountant for an initial 12 month interim assignment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting individual programme managers and project team members you will be responsible for providing financial support and direction to a number of key projects. In addition to this you will also be involved in the development and implementation of new management reports across the business.
As well as the for mentioned you will also be tasked with evaluating, analysing and interpreting the financial performance and viability of each project; reconciling project performance against the companies financial results and developing financial forecasts, including these where appropriate as future budgets.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience gained from working within a commercial organisation. Highly advantageous to this role is a background or recent experience in a cost focused manufacturing environment coupled with strong spreadsheet skills including MS Excel to an advanced user level.
