THE OPPORTUNITY:
Due to an internal promotion my client is looking to recruit a Financial Systems Accountant into its established and successful team based in the Leicestershire area.
The overall purpose of the role will be to assist the Financial Accountant with all General Accounting projects and the implementation of a new system.
Key accountabilities of the role will include:
-Leading training sessions of both local and field teams
-Leading chart of accounts conversions
-Reconciliation of general ledger and fixed assets modules for data migration
- Providing post go live support
- Identifying and coordinating financial projects relating to General accounting including business improvement projects, including finding ways in which efficiency and controls can be enhanced
- Supporting month end reporting and month end processes
Desirable Experience
A proven track record of working on multiple projects
Good excel and systems skills
General Accounting experience
Good presentation and communication skills
