THE OPPORTUNITY:
A temporary opportunity has arisen within my clients Finance Team, for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will be working for 3 other purchase ledgers to ensure a massive back log of work is cleared. This role is likely to go on until February 2012.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Processing Purchase Invoices and matching with purchase orders
· Deal with queries raised in the internal departments
· Manage and control daily/weekly payment runs
· Reconcile Supplier’s statements to the Ledger
· Process and set up payment onto the system
· Speak with clients to resolve issues
· Manage and control monthly expenses and company credit cards payments
· Other ad hoc accounting tasks
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Essential:
It is essential you have a MINIMUM of 2 years Purchase Ledger experience.
