THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie is currently recruiting a Purchasing Manager role for a leading FMCG business based in Derbyshire.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for the sourcing, purchasing and management of supply packaging materials and indirect products and services
- Management of one member of staff
- Supplier selection, contracting and evaluation
- Periodic supplier reviews
- Negotiate competitive supply agreements
- Stakeholder management
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Prior experience working within purchasing, ideally indirect services and packaging
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to develop strategies for effective category management
