THE OPPORTUNITY: Are you a dynamic HR Advisor who has experience in managing a small team? THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for a specific area of work within the business and must plan for, design, develop and implement new HR policies and procedures in line with the company legislation. You will undertake project and research work in relation to national, regional and local initiatives and design and deliver training as well as engage in coaching on an individual basis. You must build effective relationships with Directors and Managers to encourage best practise in business planning and implementing organisational change. You will also be responsible for providing advice and support in Employee Relations and support the delivery of the companies HR strategy.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Disciplinary and Grievance
• Absence Management / Attendance Monitoring
• Recruitment and Selection
• Policy & Procedure
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Lots of HR operational experience
• Ability to deal with complex issues; to negotiate and influence at all levels
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

• CIPD qualified or part-qualified
• Private sector experience
• Experience of managing a small team
