THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie currently have an opening for a Strategic Commodity Buyer to work for an expanding Manufacturing business based in Stoke on Trent.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full responsibility for a designated portfolio of spend c£30million
- Strategic sourcing
- Performing key negotiations with suppliers across a global supplier base
- Rationalisation of the supplier base
- Cost reduction
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Previous experience of strategic global sourcing
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ideally studying towards CIPS/CIPS Qualified
