THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie currently have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain and Logistics professional to join a leading Manufacturing business as a Supply and Logistics Manager.
THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Full responsibility for developing annual plans and budget that relate to purchasing, procurement, transportation, storage and Import/Export
• Liaison with customers reacting swiftly to customer requirements in a Just-in-Time environment
• Stock management
• Implementing production planning activities, effective negotiation of key projects
• Team management, leadership and coaching
• Supporting new business/new supply chain development
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Essential:
- Proven track record working within supply chain and logistics
- SAP
- Considerable experience within FMCG
Desirable:
- Engagement of staff, considerable people management skills
- Proactive with a strategic approach
