THE OPPORTUNITY:
My client is currently looking for a Qualified/Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to join the Treasury team at this large Leicestershire based business.
Due to some internal changes we are currently seeking an experienced candidate who can support the Head of Treasury with the migration, development and continual improvement of the group treasury department.
Key accountabilities of the role will include:
Assist the line manager with operational and financial plans and treasury related activities that result in accomplishing business strategies
Responsible for day to day liquidity management
Proactively liaise with business units to discuss cash requirements
Production of monthly cash flow forecasts
Assist with the review of monthly accounting in general ledger interfaces
Responsible for MI reporting
Responsible for treasury operating procedures and ensuring operating within set policies
Assist with debt and investment activity
Desirable:
Qualified AMCT or ACCA /CIMA or Qualified by Experience
Strong Communication skills
Computer literate including intermediate - advanced excel
Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload
