Charity Abseil

6 brave Macildowie employees took part in an abseil froms the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham raising £1000 for Clic Sargent.

The event saw 74 brave people in total abseiled 85 feet down from the roof of the QMC on Sunday 12th July 2009 and is set to raise £18,000.

The abseil took place on a beautifully hot and sunny summer’s day and saw people from all over Nottingham come together to have fun while raising money for the 10 children and young people diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia every day in the UK.

James Lawson, Manager at Macildowie, stated: "It was pretty daunting when you looked over the edge, the team did a great job and most importantly it was all in aid of a very worthy cause."
