Last night should’ve been our New Year Kick Off Conference, instead it was the Macildowie Lock Down Ball.
Truthfully, we were a little apprehensive as an Ops Board as to whether or not it was the right thing to do, to run the event “virtually”. In hindsight, we absolutely made the correct call.
The event was an absolute blast from beginning to end, the tech held up and we all had a wonderful time.
The World has changed forever, no doubt. The way we adapt, the decisions we make over the coming months will define our new world business model’s. Some businesses will be brave and I suspect that those are the one’s that will thrive. We have been working on our new world strategy with immense enthusiasm and great expectation - we can’t wait to take our enhanced Customer Value Proposition to market… more on this in the weeks to come.
For now though, I want to take the chance to publicly thank and congratulate all of the Macs team. We’ve achieved a heck of a lot in the past twelve months, and we’re not going to let Covid-19 stand in the way of us becoming an even better organisation in the future – and that means doing even more to help our amazingly loyal candidates and clients, building life-long recruitment relationships along the way.
Congratulations to the award winners from last night:
- Support Person of the Year – Alicja Bujnowska
- Most Values Nominations – Lucy Thompson
- Support Team Players’ Player – Keely Quinn
- Most Successful Recruiter – Tamsin Eastaugh
- Rookie of the Year – Benito Sansone
And the really big one, the one voted for by every member of staff…
To our 2019/20 Players’ Player – Tamsin Eastaugh
In addition to "the really big one", I also wanted to acknowledge the Herculean Performance of our HR Business Partner, Ben LeRoy , with the CEO's "Outstanding Achievement Award". We are so grateful to have Ben on Team Macs. Thankyou for everything that you do for us.
I also want to say a massive congratulations to all 5 of the guys who have recently been promoted:
