Are you neglecting your own development? Would you like to be more effective at developing the people who work for you? Many people focus on growing their business but neglect themselves.
This session will introduce a simple process that will help you to produce a realistic, actionable and cost-effective development plan and solutions. This plan will be focused on the areas you really need to develop.
We’ll share some practical tools and approaches to help you identify the most effective ways of developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours. You’ll take away a template that you can use straight after the session.
You can also use the template to help your team members build their development plans and ultimately improve the performance of your organisation.
There’ll be a short time at the end of the session for questions and answers to help with any specific issues you may have.
After the session, you’ll be sent a summary checklist and a template for you to capture your finished plans on.
About the Host
Are you an ambitious business owner or leader in an SME or charity that needs structured employee, team and organisation development strategies, processes and solutions? Do you recognise the benefits that training and development brings, and see it as critical to your success and growth? Do you want regular, flexible access to expertise without the overhead of an employee or need extra development capacity and capability to work with your HR team?
Andrew Deighton can partner with you to provide outsourced Employee Development support. He’ll help work out what to do, how to do it, and make it happen.
Andrew worked at Rolls-Royce plc for 26 years, starting as an engineer and then in senior HR and training roles. This mix means I bring creative, but pragmatic, solutions that solve your real needs in your business context.
Andrew set up AWD Development Solutions to help develop people and teams so they can grow businesses and he created the Exceptional Team Blueprint™ as a practical approach to build high performing teams and develop exceptional team members and leaders.
As part of his CSR I work with charities and the education sector who may have limited funds.
