Accounts Assistant / Heanor / £25,000 / Permanent / Full time / Office based
Macildowie are pleased to be working with a company based in Heanor who are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the accounts team and support with the sales ledger, credit control and predominantly focusing on purchase ledger .
This is a full-time permanent role working in the office. They are offering a salary of £25,000 and a great benefits package.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience in purchase ledger and is used to dealing with high volume invoicing. They use a bespoke accounting system but if you have experience using Sage / Xero / Quickbooks then you will be able to use this system easily.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Posting purchase invoices and credit notes
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Raising supplier payments
- Resolving supplier disputes
- Posting credit card receipts
- General admin tasks - answering calls, emails, filing, scanning
- Previous experience working within a high-volume purchase ledger department as well as experience of sales ledger and credit control
- Good organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Good Microsoft skills including excel
- Good communication skills
