Business Development Manager

Up to £67,000 (dependent upon experience)
Full time (Permanent)
Hybrid Working (2 days office/ 3 days home)
Who for?
I am thrilled to work with this client in the professional services sector who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with our national frameworks team to develop and implement strategies for growth within these key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the national frameworks team to develop and execute a business development strategy that aligns with the firm's overall objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities within the national frameworks, and develop plans to pursue them.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the frameworks, including marketing teams and decision makers.
- Collaborate with the wider business development team to ensure alignment across all business development activities.
- Conduct research on market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
- Support the tender process for new opportunities within the national frameworks, working closely with the bid team to develop compelling proposals.
- Track and report on progress against business development targets, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably within the legal sector.
- Strong understanding of the public sector processes.
- Experience of working with national frameworks would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
