12 month FTC (potential to go Perm)
Salary £23,000 - £26,000
Macildowie are delighted to be working alongside an outstanding services organisation, within the Nottingham City Centre. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced support coordinator to make their next career move by joining this fab team! Their head office is based in the City Centre.
This role is based in Nottingham however the company does have a London office so would be open to candidates based in this area also applying for this role. The position offers Hybrid working with the split of 2 days (head office) and the other 3 can be from the comfort of your own home.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in minute taking, is highly organised and is able to work off their own initiative.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Prepare and collate reporting packs
- Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and follow up on action points
- Liaise with Board and Committee members, and other internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
- Deal with correspondence, collate information, communicate decisions to relevant stakeholders
- Attend meetings & take minutes
- Taking responsibility for using and promoting best practice
- Supporting the wider team to follow policy conditions, business rules and procedures effectively
- Providing a key point of control and collaboration between other functions
- Ensure the business fulfils its obligations and is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- To undertake and assist with projects as required
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your manager
The successful candidate:
- Have a proactive attitude and can-do approach to work requirements.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbally.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to achieve goals
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
- Great attention to detail with a well organised working approach.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Good working knowledge of the MS Suite.
- Integrity and discretion when dealing with crucial data and confidential information.
- Great experience in minute taking.
- Experience of report writing and/or proofreading.
