Data Analyst
Up to £32,000 - Leicester
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Permanent

Macildowie has partnered with a financial institution in Leicester to recruit a Data Analyst.


The key objective is to hold a minimum of 2 years of commercial experience as a Data Analyst using data reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Excel, or Tableau.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the sales team to gather an understanding of the sales process and associated funnel, with the ability to measure the different stages of the funnel from advert/campaign to live, drawing out return on investment.
  • Track campaigns and incorporating ROI data.
  • Identify trends and issues as well as creating purposeful MI and automated dashboards that help our clients business evaluate sales performance.
  • You will also be able to craft appropriate value-adding commentary helping us identify gaps and explore.
  • Creating new purposeful MI for both sales and other business units on a weekly, monthly basis using Google Data Studio, Salesforce dashboards, or other reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Providing regular commentary and insight, ensuring all MI produced tells a story and is easy for users to digest and access.
  • Building and producing compelling MI, capable of visually directing the user towards key trends in conversions, performance, and ROI.
  • Working closely with our clients sales team and stakeholders providing insight and direction as a key business partner.


The Candidate

  • Previous experience operating as a Data Analyst or in a similar position.
  • Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards with appropriate value-adding commentary.
  • Proficient in using data reporting tools such Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Excel or Tableau.
  • Able to commute to the Leicester office.
