Facilities/Health and Safety officer / Milton Keynes / Salary up to £38,000 per annum / fully office based / permanent!
Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a market leader provider in weighing and cutting technology. Your main responsibility will be to coordinator the activities required to meet company standard and legal requirements with a huge focus on compliance and improving the business.
You will need:
- Experience within Health and Safety ideally within a manufacturing, food or FMCG environment. (2 years Minimum)
- IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications or equivalent (Desirable).
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
Responsibilities:
- Advise colleagues on how to reduce the risk or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in a work place.
- Being responsible for all health and safety inspections.
- First aid Duties.
- Obtaining quotations for facilities work.
- Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in a work place.
