Job Description

Our high growth MK based manufacturing and services client, a dynamic global business with an award winning reputation and a broad customer base, is currently looking to recruit a new Financial Controller. This is a rewarding and challenging new opportunity to join a business who have currently stolen the March on their competitors with their very clear and mapped out business strategy.

We are looking for a hands-on, operationally, technically and commercially minded qualified financial controller or FP&A Manager to be responsible for the day to day running of a small finance function and for maintaining tight and robust financial controls and providing value adding business partnering support and analysis to commercial and sales teams.

The key responsibilities and deliverables of this exciting opportunity will include; the management, mentoring and development of a slick and efficient finance team; responsibility for the production of both consolidated management & financial accounts including the preparation and reporting of group accounts,; to prepare and present monthly MI and sales KPI's; to enhance and make more insightful (through MI and the best use of MS office tools) the analysis of weekly flash numbers margin and spend by customer, as well as to ensure the tighter management of banking and cash flow requirements. This role will also assume responsibility for producing and analysing monthly and quarterly budgets and forecasts as well and the delivery and execution of a new three year business plan.

The successful candidate, a confident and commercially articulate self-starter with over 7 years of hands-on post-qualification experience will be a driven and highly approachable Qualified Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Business Partner / FP& A Manager with strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

This role will require the successful candidate to challenge, facilitate and influence at all levels across the business. Any previous experience of analytical modeling, supporting senior stakeholder's and strong systems and data manipulation skills will be extremely useful.
