They are seeking a newly qualified Accountant, ideally trained within a practice environment, who is wanting to join a true market leader and enhance their career prospects within industry.
The role will be responsible for the production of all financial statements, ensuring that submissions to all external parties are both timely and accurate.
Responsible for the day to day management of a team of 2 - mentoring, coaching and developing.
Responsible for the Quarterly VAT return.
Monthly Intrastat submissions.
Approval and reconciliation of key balance sheet controls and accounts.
Treasury including cash reconciliations and management and some hedging activity
Identifying and responding to developments in financial reporting and communicating them to the business.
Developing internal relationships to help teams understand the impacts of business developments on financial reportingÂ
Developing external networks to ensure that the organisation's financial reporting is best in class.
To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a varied practice background including Tax, VAT and statutory accounts.
You will have a keen interest in monitoring the regulatory environment and keeping abreast of all legislative/principle adaptations.
You will also be a competent people manager and be comfortable communicating on all levels of a business.
