Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire, UK
Salary: up to £35,000p.a depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a new and exciting manufacturing organisation based in Towcester, Northamptonshire, is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This role isn't heavy on Employee Relations so gives yourself more time to focus on the exciting bits and projects!
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries.
- Support the recruitment process, including job posting, CV screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Assist with the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Manage HR administration, including maintaining HR records, updating employee files, and ensuring compliance with relevant HR policies and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practice.
- Support the Head of HR on projects
- Provide support and guidance to managers on performance management issues, including objective setting, performance monitoring, and feedback.
Key Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in recruitment is ideal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify and address HR issues before they become problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
