Job Description

Role: HR Advisor (Permanent)

Salary: £28,000-£35,000

Location: Wellingborough (on-site, with the chance to work one day from home once settled)

The role:

I am looking for an ambitious, driven HR professional who wants to be a part of a lovely team. The advisory level position, will take responsibility as the first port of call for all employee/HR related queries in the business. As such, you may be responsible for anything to do with HR, ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably. This role will provide you with a great chance to become an excellently rounded HR professional.

Key responsibilities (amongst more):

  • Dealing with, and resolving various HR queries throughout the business
  • Supporting management with recruitment selection and on-boarding processes
  • Creating and delivering inductions for new employees
  • Maintaining HR and recruitment databases
  • Being the first point of call for management advice relating to personnel queries
  • Completing casework, including disciplinary and grievances, whilst advising management on best practice
  • Completion of specific HR related projects within the wider business
  • Completion of daily and weekly absence reporting
  • Develop, maintain and implement effective and efficient HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations
  • Ensuring information is processed and systems are maintained within GDPR regulations

Skills Required:

  • General IT skills, including good Microsoft packages skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Law
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of GDPR legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
