Job Description

We are looking for an Inventory Co-ordinator to join our client who is within the Building Materials industry and is looking to continue their strong momentum with this position!


Based in Rugby, with hybrid working, the role would be managing product forecasts using a demand planning system, raise and manage PO's as required and optimising stock availability for maximum efficiencies. We are looking for someone with a highly analytical mindset, data driven and has a some background in Supply Chain and an understanding of demand planning and forecasting.


You would be IT Literate, Microsoft Office, with experience using Slim4 or similar inventory software programmes would be advantageous.


The role is looking to pay circa £24,000-£25,000 per annum with 23 days holiday + Bank Hols + benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage product forecasts using a demand planning system
  • Raise & manage purchase orders in line with order cycles
  • Optimise stock holding for maximum availability
  • Act as a gatekeeper for the business concerning inventory decisions
  • Develop and manage relationships with all relevant suppliers, ensuring company requirements are communicated
  • Maintain absolute data integrity within your supplier/product portfolio
  • Ad hoc reports and support for wider teams

Ideal Candidate:

  • Detail and data orientated
  • Analytical mindset
  • Supply Chain experience beneficial
  • IT Literate in Microsoft office and ideally some kind of inventory software programme (Slim4 advantageous)
  • Strong team player
  • Inquisitive and looking to develop
