IT Site Support Analyst
Location: Brierley Hill
Salary & Benefits: Above Market Average Salary + Overtime (Paid at Time & a Half) + Paid Microsoft Qualifications
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm (with some flexibility on start and end times)
Overview:
Working for a highly successful and very well established MS Gold Partner IT Managed Services company, the IT Site Support Analyst is responsible for providing desktop support on a range of windows, application and hardware problems.
Acting as a dedicated resource (as part of a larger team) for a very reputable, professional client, based in Brierley Hill at a 1st/2nd Line level. This role will be fully office based. The role will provide a professional support service with a positive customer centric approach.

Responsibilities:
Proactively managing service delivery between onsite resources, in-house team, remote helpdesk and head office project team
Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and peripheral equipment together with their associated software applications
Undertake user admin and configuring of application software e.g., setting up users, group policy, access permissions, user profiles, and other tasks to ensure the smooth running of systems and IT services.
New starter / leaver / change procedures across MS and third-party applications
Testing of updates / system changes, assisting with deployment and pre/post go-live support
Provide a first line response for local server issues
Manage own call queue to SLAs
In receipt of support from Field Support and Senior Helpdesk Analysts
Desired Experience:
- Active Directory (creating and managing user accounts within AD)
- Group Policies (creating and managing what are they, how they are enforced)
- Exchange (management of user accounts, 'how do I' support advice, access requests)
- Office365 (troubleshooting, migration and management of user accounts)
- Terminal Server (trouble shooting connection issue)
- Windows Server (troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of application support
Miscellaneous:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
- 23 days annual leave rising to 27
- Qualifications allowance payable upon successful completion of funded accreditations
- Overtime allowance
