Management Accountant Temporary
Our client is an SME based in North Leicestershire and we are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their successful business. As Management Accountant, this role is working in a small and friendly team reporting into the FD and preparing the management accounts plus also assisting in the general accounting function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- VAT returns & Bank reconciliation
- Assisting/overseeing the Assistant Accounts with day to day accounting duties
- Fixed Assets
- Preparing payroll figures
- Prepare and analyse budgets vs actuals.
- Reporting
- Supporting the FD with adhoc requirements
This role requires someone with previous management accounting experience who has prepared the managements accounts and has also good knowledge of transactional accounting in order to support the team. Strong Excel skills are essential along with excellent interpersonal skills including mentoring others.
NB: this will be M-F in the office.
