Up to £30,000 plus bonus

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for an Events Sales Coordinator to join an impressive luxury events organisation in the heart of Burton on Trent. This is a standalone role, so motivation is key! You will support the sales team by generating leads, following up with potential clients, and converting leads into sales. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Sales Director to drive revenue growth and ensure the success of all events.

This opportunity will someone who has had an exposure to sales and wants to progress their carer in the events industry.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity that offers flexible and hybrid working. N.B you will be required to work some weekends and you must be willing to travel to London.

Role and responsibilities include:
Follow up with leads and book consultations to discuss event packages
Create quotes and liaise with clients to secure sales
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while expanding your network to generate new leads
Be a self-starter and confident salesperson with excellent people skills
Actively manage your schedule, including regular client meetings and networking opportunities
Maintain and manage sales database, including record of key contacts and sales communication
Stay up to date with industry trends to spot new opportunities
Work collaboratively with the Sales Director to drive business development

Ideal candidate:

Proven experience in a sales role within events, hospitality or marketing (essential)
Strong negotiation and ability to successfully close deals
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Able to engage clients, generate leads and build strong rapport with clients
Ability to work independently
Experience managing pipelines and databases, including CRM databases
Strong ability to influence key stakeholders
An extremely motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude
Willingness to work weekends and travel to attend events
