A well established company based in Hinckley are seeking an accounts assistant to join thier small but busy team on a permanent basis. If you are experienced in accounts or would like to build on your knowledge, then this couldbe the right role for you. The role reports directly into the Financial Controller.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing purchase invoices - match, batch, and code
Updating supplier accounts
Supplier statement reconciliaitons
Obtaining authorisation for payment
Dealing with supplier queries
Assist with month end procedures
Assisting with payroll - enter and reconcile hours
Produce weekly labour reports
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Ideally you will be studying towards the AAT qualification
Experience in an accounts based position is essential
Excellent IT Skills including Excel
Proven ability to work to own initiative
