Accounts Assistant, £18,000 - £24,000 PA Grantham Nottinghamshire

Macildowie is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small finance team based in Grantham.

Based in the Head Office in Grantham you'll be providing support to the Finance Director processing purchase Invoices and dealing with queries ensuring invoices are paid on time.

This is an excellent opportunity to join thriving business that truly looks after their employees and who consistently look to improve employee experiences. Reporting to the Financial Controller you'll be responsible for:

  • Working with spreadsheets, processing invoices
  • Preparing statutory accounts.
  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debit
  • Invoicing for 212 franchises, equivalent to 212 invoices per month
  • 75% Sales Ledger

It is preferred that you have worked in a similar role, ideally with experience in Sales Ledger Reconciliation and have experience working in a small finance team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be educated to a minimum of GCSE Grade C in math's and English and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products specifically Excel.
