Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Financial services business based in Leicestershire. The business is looking for somebody to join their expanding team as an accounts assistant focusing on Treasury. This job would be ideal for someone with previous Treasury experience and strong analytical skills. The Business is in an ideal location easily accessible via public transport and commutable from Leicester, Nottingham, Coalville, Syston and Hinckley
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main focus of the position is to assist with the daily cash management and administration within the Treasury function, Knowledge of foreign exchange rates would be advantageous as a large proportion of the role will be preparing the daily cash position across all currencies.
Monthly cash flow forecasting
Maintaining the finance system to reflect the current cash position
preparation of monthly MI reporting
Bank Charge Accruals
Daily Payment requests
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Organisation & Attention to detail is essential
Experience within Financial services industry
Excellent Excel skills (Macro Level is desirable but not essential)
Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines
Studying towards a financial qualification is also desirable
