Purchase Ledger Clerk, £18,000 - £20,000, Nottingham City Centre
Macildowie is proud to be working with an innovative, progressive and market leading business seeking a hard-working, fun-loving Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding team.
Based in Nottingham City Centre you'll be responsible for administering all aspects of the purchase ledger, sales ledger and related banking and accounting transactions for these functions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that truly looks after their employees and who consistently look to improve employee experiences. Reporting into the Branch Accounting Manager, you will be processing purchase invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders via a pay system ensuring costs are coded accurately, working on central accounts payable system including setting up new suppliers, maintain an efficient purchase ledger with timely payments to suppliers that maximise the cash flow of the business, process monthly employee expense claims, reconcile the purchase ledger control account each month.
It is preferred that you have worked in a similar role, ideally processing invoices and liaising with suppliers resolving queries. You will have excellent attention to detail and be used to working in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
