Finance Assistant required to join large finance team of UK based market leader in its Head Office in Nottingham. The job will be looking after the Receivables side of the Ledger and will require somebody who is comfortable with chasing outstanding debt.
They are looking for a reliable and committed individual to work within a team that is responsible for business critical tasks, ensuring a high standard of work is completed and company procedures are adhered to at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
Actively Chasing Overdue balances
Resolving outstanding Queries
Ad-hoc tasks as and when required
Previous experience in an accounting environment, preferably credit control, would be beneficial along with a good telephone manner and reasonable academic achievements, including a grade C or above in both Maths and English. Furthermore, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. The nature of this role requires you to be able to demonstrate evidence of managing your time and also your ability to meet targets/deadlines.
