Management Accountant | Nottingham City Centre | £25,000-£28,000

Macildowie Finance are proud to be partnering with a successful Nottingham based tech business in the recruitment of their new Assistant Accountant and we would love to hear from you if you are a great fit for the role.
An SME with a big future, the business is interesting in nature with a strong growth plan in place for the coming years. This position being key to delivering even more success in the future through forming an exemplary reporting team alongside the Head of Finance.
- To support the Head of Finance through the completion of daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Support with production of Management Accounts
- Ensure that all month end balance sheet reconciliations are completed
- Accruals and pre-payments
- Journal Postings
- Manage the payroll process (outsourced)
- Assisting in improving long term accounting processes to support future growth
- Transactional duties including sales and purchase ledger
- Ad hoc work when required
To be successful in your application, you will either be AAT qualified or actively studying your CIMA/ACCA with a track record of supporting a large finance team.
You will have strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-Lookups etc) and ideally be experienced with Sage.
You will truly be a team player, comfortable adapting quickly to new tasks and helping other team members when required.
