The Opportunity

Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for an Assistant Brand Manager to join a growing FMCG business in Milton Keynes. You will support the marketing department by developing and implementing effective brand-building strategies as well as providing day to day marketing support. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the successful candidate will benefit from varied marketing responsibilities within this small but fast moving company.

This is a new and varied role to support the Marketing Department in their day to day activities as the business undergoes rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

-Undertake daily administrative tasks and coordination of the department's activities
-Help develop & optimise marketing campaigns (product launches & promotions)
-Review, track & report on all aspects of industry, competitor & market trends
-Assist in the organisation of promotional events
-Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, blogs and newsletter
-Look after product image requests including arranging product photography and keeping Brandbank up to date
-Assist with packaging amends/updates
-Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
-Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
-Complete new product line documentation for all customersRun an annual promotional calendar for all retailers

Skills and Experience Required

-Proven experience as an Assistant Brand Manager
-Good understanding of marketing principles
-Organisational skills, ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
-Ability to conduct research & analyse data
-Excellent communication and organisational skills with a customer-oriented approach
-Creative mindset
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint essential
-Proficient with social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
-Self-motivated, keen to learn and develop new skills
-Full driving licence & own car
