Macildowie Marketing are working with a recognisable Nottingham brand to hire a Brand Manager to help them bring their brand and values to life and leverage their strengths by creating and delivering brand plans across the UK business.
We are looking for an experienced marketing and internal communications leader with the skills to strengthen the brand position amongst internal and external audiences. This will include customers, partners, co-workers and communities and you will be responsible for connecting the brand with these people, sharing the story and looking to grow the reputation of the business to ultimately attract new customers. This will also include some really exciting events linked to their social responsibility and charities strategy.
This high-profile role requires a true 'Brand Champion' who is confident and passionate about brand marketing, values and culture. You will lead by example and ensure the protection and growth of the brand is at the heart of everything they do.
You will lead the brand function and be the focal point for all things brand related within the UK business. You will be highly creative, energetic and driven to deliver, enjoying variety in your work. To be successful in this role, you must be prepared to be hands on to get things done and have the skills to develop new ideas to engage audiences.
This will include supporting the Marketing Manager as a key part of leadership team in the creation and execution of UK marketing plans. This will include Internal branding and co-worker engagement, Internal and external events, social responsibility, PR and ownership of the brand reputation across B2B & B2C channels.
You will lead the development and delivery of an effective Social responsibility and charities programme for the business.
New Business Support
Support New Business campaigns from a brand and engagement perspective, including the production of content collateral for pitches, sales support materials, content calendars, conferencing and events and oversight of award entries and management of the submissions process.
Social Media Channels
Co-develop social media plans with the digital manager, developing content that drives brand awareness and engagement and integrates with the wider UK marketing plan. You will manage the brand reputation across social channels, drive engagement of key audiences and communities across social covering customers, co-workers, Partners and prospects.
The successful candidate will have significant experience and an understanding of the marketing mix, you will be a leading voice with strong experience in brand marketing across B2B, B2C and Internal communication audiences. Ideally you will have experience of managing people, agencies, budgets and a wide range of stakeholders at all levels so personality and influencing skills will be hugely important.
It is also vital you can demonstrate a track record in commercial performance marketing techniques for both consumers and businesses. It is also important that you can show an understanding of effective co-worker engagement and leading collaborations with community and charity partners.
