Business Development Executive / Internal Sales

We have targeted our growth plans to hit £3m turnover in the next 3 years and have moved significantly closer to achieving this target in recent months. However, we now require a business development executive, to work side by side with the sales director to generate new leads and revenue streams from the smaller targeted businesses (and we are just about the embark on the market peak of the calendar year!)
We specialise in providing school's and the education sector with uniform solutions, selling direct to parents via the school's recommendation/contractual agreement. Your job will be to contact new schools, who are using competitors and speak to the decision makers. Also, in 2018 the government planned opening of several free schools across the country offering the business an opportunity for some really strong business gains in the near future, which you'll be expected to approach.
Having experience of selling into the education sector would be preferable, but it's not essential to be considered. Essential experiences required include:
- Sales experience
- Selling Business to Business
- Business development experience/skills
- Communication skills - telephone & face to face
- Professional phone manner
- Clear communicator
