Business Development Manager
We have been exclusively instructed to work with a growing SME business in the East Midlands that works in the public and private sector for providing office solutions. The products vary from furniture to work wear and PEE and they require a Business Development Manager to help grow the new business generation.
The business revolves around helping to provide other businesses across the UK in supporting their growth and development through supplying them with telecommunications, office supplies, health and safety, workwear, PPE and catering. The industry has changed from supplying pens and paper and they are the forefront of innovation by working together with clients to ensure they appeal to their customer base.
Ideally, having experience within office solutions already would be helpful if applying for the position. However, if you have dealt with supplying offices with specific items such as Ink, Toner, Chairs, lighting or other items as a Business Development Manager for Field Sales representative, then this would be deemed relevant to be considered.
The position requires key experience in:
- Business Development
- Cold Calling, Networking and attending events
- Units and margins
- Knowledge of products for office solutions
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Weekly reporting
- Field based
- Driving Licence for UK Travel essential
The salary ranges from £30,000-£40,000 with a car allowance in addition (all subject to experience). OTE is uncapped and expected to reach £45,000-£50,000.
