Business Development Manager / Luxury Retail Brands
Well established in the retail and fashion industry, providing luxury packaging for some the worlds well know brands, we are actively looking to recruit a Business Development Manager responsible for driving sales and bring on new business as we continue to seek new heights for our thriving company.
What do you need to know? We work with some of the most noticeable names in fashion & retail (including Reiss, Mulberry, Ted Baker & many others) to help co design, consult and produce a packaging solution from boxes and bags to small package items. Our work is taken home from the shops and department stores on the high street everyday and we have also established working relationships with online retailers too. Our aim is to become the go to business for luxury packaging - not just your standard carrier bag provider.
The experience that's required for the job is an experienced Business Development Manager who is working in retail and fashion selling brands in department stores or working within the brands themselves and winning new business in relation to production providers and materials. Having packaging experience would be beneficial, but certainly isn't a specific requirement for the role.

The opportunity for career progressive and success in this business should not be under estimated. We are currently achieving £15m turnover and if we continue on our growth trajectory we'll hit £20m within 2-3 years. We have recently recruited 2 account managers to enable the increasing workflow to be managed efficiently, but working in such a competitive market and focussing on the high end products, we know we can go from strength to strength. The new Business Development Manager will be responsible for helping to reach our goals, so we are keen to speak to people that love the element of sales within fashion and retail to hit the ground running.
The salary is negotiable up to £50,000 for someone who we believe can thrive, so demonstrating experience in growing sales in this industry is paramount to be successful in this recruitment process. The OTE is completely uncapped and if you hit the KPI's it's not unrealistic to earn up to £55,000-£65,000 in your first year. There is also a company car and pension scheme.
