Job Description


Macildowie is excited to be recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join a well-established organisation based in Leicestershire.

You will be responsible for:

- Evaluating & selecting suppliers based on business needs
- Managing & maintaining relationships with suppliers, including monitoring & auditing on price, quality and delivery criteria
- Sourcing raw materials & services to seek out cost saving opportunities/improve quality
- Managing Tender and Request for Quotation processes including creating necessary supporting documentation
- Negotiating Framework Agreements; Rebate Agreements & Service Level Agreements with key suppliers
- Resolving any supplier/product issues regarding price, delivery & quality requirements
- Raising purchase orders and other support functions as necessary

You will have:

- 1-2 years buying experience in a similar purchasing environment
- Full UK Driving Licence & willing to travel within the UK
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Ability to approach things pragmatically & consider solutions based on business needs
- Strong organisation and planning skills

- £20-22k annual salary depending on experience
