The opportunity has arisen for a Buyer working 37 hours per week. The role will be responsible for enabling the purchase and supply chain of global projects through negotiated costs with suppliers.
Specifically, you'll take part in regular meetings and discussions with different areas of the business in order to define requirements and gather information relevant to any on going projects.
You'll be expected to update your key performance indicators, and you'll also work with part manufacturers and take appropriate action to resolve any issues which may arise. Finally, you'll build, develop, and grow any relationships vital to the success of the companies various projects.
What we require
A varied skill set will be required due to the variety of commodities being purchased.
This role will require a high level of interaction internally, as well as a continual flow of high level communication with our many suppliers both in the UK and overseas factories; therefore, strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
Additionally, you'll need strong buying and negotiating expertise with previous experience of a purchasing or other commercial negotiating environment.
